It all started when…

Internationally trained, Alex is an industry leader. A Master Artist, trained in colour, cut and styling. She began her career specialising in colour correction, foiling and balayage techniques then went on to specialise in cutting and finishing. Her signature style is all about a meticulous attention to detail precision colouring and contemporary cuts.
Her experience and achievements in hair artistry over 27 years, have been recognised by numerous industry awards, most notably 13 International Hairstylists Society Awards(IHS). ​Alexs' industry awards include Winner of the Redken Colour Award (Australia and New Zealand), The Face of IHS – Photographic Styling and Colour (Australia and New Zealand).
As Hair Director for Redken at Sydney & Melbourne Fashion Week, and Fashion Festival, Alex collaborated with leading fashion designers, including Bec and Bridge, Karla Spetic, Miss Unkon and the Vogue Magazine Runway Show.
As a Guest Artist for Redken, Alex educated throughout Australia and Internationally, touring South Africa and New Zealand training in colour techniques and cutting and styling techniques.
​An accomplished Session Stylist, Alex has had work published in many national fashion magazines including Marie Claire, InStyle and Oyster.
Alex owned Phyzogs a successful Sydney hair salon for 18 years before making a seachange to the sunny shores of Noosa.

With more than 20 years’ experience in delivering cutting-edge hair services in salons in Melbourne and the Sunshine Coast, Julz brings a wealth of experience, hair artistry skills and a warm personal approach which instantly sets her clients at ease.

A long time Noosa local, Julz’s attention to detail and ethos for creativity has resulted in a loyal client following attracting both locals and regular visitors to Noosa’s sun-kissed sands.
